Summit Peak Roofing

After a hail or wind storm, it is hard to know whether your roof was damaged. Bruised shingles, lost granules, dented vents and torn flashing are easy to miss from the driveway, and small damage can turn into leaks months later.

After a storm

  • Stay safe. Do not climb onto the roof. Take photos from the ground if you can do so safely.
  • Stop active leaks. If water is coming in, call us and we will help protect the home until a repair can be made.
  • Schedule an inspection. We check the roof surface, vents, flashing, gutters and downspouts for storm damage.

Documentation you can use

We photograph the damage and give you a written summary of what we found. You can share it with your insurance company, and we are glad to walk your adjuster through our findings if you would like us there.

Repairs or replacement

Depending on the extent of the damage, the fix may be a targeted repair or a full replacement. Either way, you will know the scope and price before work begins.

Questions

Before you call.

Which areas do you serve?

We work in Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton and Boulder. If you are close by but not sure we cover your street, give us a call at (303) 555-0147 and ask.

My roof was hit by hail. What should I do first?

Stay off the roof and take photos from the ground if it is safe. If water is coming in, call us right away. Otherwise, schedule an inspection: we will check the roof, vents, flashing and gutters and give you photos and a written summary you can share with your insurance company.

Should I repair my roof or replace it?

It depends on the age of the roof, how widespread the damage is and how it has held up. After an inspection we explain what we found and give you the options. If a repair will do the job, we will tell you.

How long does a roof replacement take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the roof and on the weather. We will give you an expected schedule with your estimate and keep you posted if weather moves things around.

Do you install and repair gutters?

Yes. We install new gutters and downspouts, replace damaged sections, fix leaks and re-pitch gutters that hold water. If you are replacing your roof, we can look at the gutters as part of the same project.

What are your hours?

Our office is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and Saturday from 8am to 2pm. You can send a request through the website at any time.

How do I get an estimate?

Call (303) 555-0147 or send a request through the contact form with your address and what you are seeing. We will arrange a time to look at the roof and follow up with a written estimate.
